A small, owner-operated drywall and finishing contractor in York, PA. We hang, tape, skim, repair and paint walls and ceilings — and finish basements, baths and kitchens when the job grows. The person who quotes your job is the person on site.

CIG Construction is the construction arm of Coptic Investment Group, a York-based family of businesses. We stay small on purpose. There is no sales rep and no call center: the owner measures the job, writes the estimate, schedules the crew and is on site while it’s built.
CIG Construction is a general contractor built around the finishing trades — new hang and tape, Level 4 and Level 5 finishes, skim coats over old rowhome plaster, and repairs that disappear. Full investment-property rehabs, with licensed plumbing and electrical under our contract, are how most of our bigger projects run. Painting inside and out, basement finishing, tile, flooring and hardwood refinishing, decks, kitchen and bath remodels and small commercial build-outs come along with it — done by the same crew to the same standard.

Finish quality
Walls are judged in raking light, not from the doorway. Straight corners, invisible seams, no flashing under paint. If we can see it, we fix it before you do.
Straight talk
If a wall can be skimmed instead of replaced, we say so. If a job isn’t worth doing, or isn’t ours to do, we say that too.
Clean sites
Plastic, zip walls and HEPA vacs on every sanding job. Floors and furniture covered. Swept and bagged every day, not just at the end.

Send a note or book online. We come out, measure, look at the substrate and talk through options. Most visits take about 30 minutes.

25% deposit
A 25% deposit holds your dates and covers materials. Nothing else is due until the work is done and you’ve walked it.
Schedule in writing
You get a start date and a finish date in writing, and a text the day before we arrive. If something moves, you hear it from us first.
Build, with daily cleanup
Floors protected, dust contained, tools packed and the site swept at the end of every day. Questions go straight to the owner.
Walkthrough
When we think we’re done, you walk it with us in good light. Anything you point out gets fixed before we call it finished.
Balance on completion
We invoice the balance only after the walkthrough. Pay by card, bank transfer, Zelle or cash.
Walkthrough & sign-off
When the work is done you walk it with us, room by room. Anything you flag gets fixed before we close the job out — the punch window is spelled out in your contract.
